Sabine Amslinger was born in Weißenburg i. Bay. in 1974. She studied Chemistry from 1995 to 2000 at the Universities Erlangen-Nürnberg and Lawrence (Kansas). During her Diplomathesis with Prof. Dr. A. Hirsch she synthesized biotinylated glykolipids. She did her dissertation in the field of terpene biosynthesis with Prof. Dr. Dr. A. Bacher from 2000 to 2003 at the Technical University Munich in Garching. As a postdoctoral researcher she worked first with Prof. Dr. Dr. A. Bacher and from 2004 to 2006 at the University of California in Berkeley with Prof. Dr. K. P. C. Vollhardt on natural product synthesis and methodology applying cobaltmediated cyclizations. Since 2006 she establishes her own research group at the University of Regensburg.
Detailed CV (pdf)
